About Hanselmann Pottery
Hanselmann Pottery was founded on Dixon Road in Corrales, New Mexico in 1970 by Fred and Joan Hanselmann. Years later in 1992, Hanselmann neighbors and brothers Fritz and Tim Allen took over the studio. The Corrales Artisan Center and current home of the Hanselmann Pottery studio at 4908 Corrales Road, in the Heart of Corrales, was finished in 1996. It consists of a large and unique pottery gallery and retail outlet, an even bigger clay working area, and a kiln yard featuring three 300 cubic foot reduction fired downdraft kilns. The Corrales Artisan Center also supports The Corrales Bistro Brewery since 2007 and Amigos Tack Shop.

Hanselmann Pottery Has three main patterns. Cimmaron which is a straight laced traditional presentation with straight lines and geometric shapes ranging from lemony blue green quadrants to matted earth tones. Santa Fe that creates a sense of movement and spontaneity with beautiful purple, blue, rust and tope working in unison. Lavender Sky is a subtle magenta blue and green combination bringing images of oceans and lakes to what I call our puppy love or honeymoon pattern. We have been making our highfire stoneware pottery for almost 40 years. We have a reputation of standing behind our product and making replacements or additions available when requested.
